One of the most beautiful routes in Germany, for sure. Even while you're approaching parking, you'll be impressed with the crazy looking mountain you are heading to.
The first part is going through the forest and next to the waterfalls. On top of that lays the lake with the epic photo spots.
To get to the summit you will have to put some more effort on a bit steeper terrain, but nothing too difficult. Reward is, as expected, the view of the lake, Nebelhorn (and ridge that leads to it) and Oberstdorf.
Getting down requires a bit of climbing up and down that is secured with cable and should be doable for everyone.
