This is an ideal chance to enjoy the views on Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains for everybody who wants to try via ferrata. It is also suitable for kids, even if it takes a bit more time to complete.
For those who are in very good fitness, climbing up in foot is also an option, otherwise I would recommend a cable car. If you are experienced with via ferrata, you can also try difficult one near the cable car station.
The main part of the route is going over the ridge. More experienced people will not have a need to use the equipment, but I would still recommend the helmet.
Going down is a bit tedious and definitely long. The rest for your knees can be found in the hut after you pass the steepest descent.
