For this route you will need some good fitness, but it is not difficult in any moment. Actually, probably the hardest part is via ferrata to the summit and it can be avoided by foot.
Getting down can also be a bit tricky because of the terrain, so consider doing this route in other direction. In that case you will have to go down for a few minutes just before the summit if you want to climb up with via ferrata.
In any case, you will have a great view on almost entire Rofan Mountains plateau and therefore is something you have to visit at least once.
On the way down you will have a view on a part of Achensee, as well as waterfall. Optionally, for a bit of thrill, climb difficult (D) via ferrata next to the waterfall.
There are also great huts at the beginning of plateau, where you can also find some attractions and where a cable car finishes (still not that crowded usually).
