One of the "must" routes if you are into via ferrata and happen to be in this part of Germany. It has a great view of Watzmann and at one point you can even take pictures on the exposed part with it in background.
The approach is relatively easy and takes about two hours to reach the technical part. Already from the distance you will see a 400+ meters high wall that you have to climb and you will definitely feel respect towards it.
However, as always, from a distance it looks far more difficult than it actually is. Still, you will need to know climbing techniques and/or strength in your arms as it is pretty long for a via ferrata that has C difficulty most of the time and few C/D (or even pure D) segments. Also, you absolutely shouldn't have any fear of heights as the whole via ferrata is really exposed.
The most important thing is to take your time (there are a lot of artificial footings) and enjoy the view in the process.
Just as you climb to the summit, you'll also see a hut where you can take some rest and enjoy the view. And a secret tip at the end: descending from there also reveals some great views on the mountain that you just climbed.
